Accurate measurement of the parts of the eye is critical for many diagnostic and clinical settings. These measurements are used for contact lens fittings, disease management, and cataract and refractive surgeries. Instruments which are currently available have various limitations. This new investigational device may be able to address these challenges.
The goal of the study is to evaluate the accuracy, effectiveness and overall quality of a new investigational eye imaging and measurement device compared to the current standard of care devices. This study is looking to evaluate several different groups of patients with this new investigational device.

Approximately 172 participants will attend 1-2 study visits and may receive up to $250 in compensation for completing the study visits.

You may qualify to participate if you:
Are 22 years or older
Have normal eye health OR cataracts OR severe nearsightedness (-6.0 D or greater) or farsightedness (+5.0 D or greater) OR abnormal shape of your cornea
Are willing to discontinue the use of contact lenses for two (2) weeks prior to the study visit (you may wear your glasses in lieu of contact lenses)
If you qualify for this study, here is what you can expect:
Study Visits: You will be asked to attend one 1-2 in-clinic visits.
Compensation: For your time and participation and for completing 1-2 study visit, you may be compensated up to $250.
During this visit you will go through a series of assessments, including:
Eye Exam: You will receive a comprehensive eye examination to assess your eye health
Eye Imaging: You will undergo an eye scan using the investigational device.
Medical History: We will ask for your ocular medical history and current medications, vitamins, and other supplements that you take. You will also be asked questions about your overall health, past diseases, and surgeries.
In addition, there are other assessments that the study team will discuss with you in detail during your visits.

The study will last 1-2 days.
If you experience nearsightedness or farsightedness you could fall under one of the patient groups we need for the study. To qualify for this group, you must have a diopter value of -6.0 D or greater OR +5.0 D or greater.
Taking part in any clinical study is entirely voluntary. Your decision whether to participate will not affect the medical care you currently receive or may receive in the future. If you qualify and opt to join the study, you have the freedom to withdraw at any time and for any reason.
All study-related testing will be provided to you by the sponsor at no charge; however, taking part in this study may lead to added costs to you and/or your insurance company. Tests and procedures that are routine care for your eye condition (not part of this research study) will be billed to your insurance.
Your personal and medical information is completely protected before, during and after the clinical trial process through the HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) Privacy Rule. You will also be informed of who has access to your personal information.
